Discussion will focus on common themes in our schools (and residential facilities) with emphasis on strategies to reduce physical intervention, law enforcement involvement and treatment interfering behavior. Participants will come away with practical ways to best manage a crisis while also utilizing their agency's own behavior management system and/or emergency intervention training. The conversation is meant to supplement and brainstorm existing techniques while adding to our "toolbox" of skills.
