NAPSEC Membership Benefits and Services

A Message from the Executive Director & CEO
Being a NAPSEC Member means many things. It means that your program supports NAPSEC’s mission to represent private special education centers and their leaders. Together, we promote high quality programs for individuals with disabilities and their families and we advocate for access to the continuum of alternative placements and services. It means your program is active in the legislative process and wants to impact issues concerning private special education and the individuals and families you serve. It also means that you realize what being a part of a national association can do for your organization.

This page details the benefits and discounts available to your program with your membership in NAPSEC.

The NAPSEC Board of Directors and I encourage you to take advantage of the many perks and privileges described here. Please contact us if you need information or assistance on national issues, educational data, or the association itself. We are always happy to assist you!

Sherry L. Kolbe
Executive Director and CEO

Visit the Outcomes link to learn more about recent exit studies and results.

Membership Directory
Promote your program in this publication, which is produced every two years. The directory is provided free to State Special Education Director and to members upon request. Copies are available for public purchase.  NAPSEC also distributes a ‘Networking Directory’ twice per year to all of its members that is less cumbersome and easier to use than the Membership Directory.

NAPSEC Publications
As a member of NAPSEC, you will receive the bi-monthly National Issues Service (NIS) and the association's quarterly newsletter, NAPSEC News.  The NIS provides updates on legislative initiatives, regulatory issues, judicial mandates, grants information, and NAPSEC news. Learn more about NAPSEC and your fellow member programs through the association's newsletter, NAPSEC News, published quarterly.

Where better to network with your colleagues than at NAPSEC's Annual Conference held in January and its Legislative Conference held in the Spring.
