NAPSEC AWARD FOR LEADERSHIP & INNOVATION IN SPECIAL EDUCATION
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
Please ensure your application includes the following:
Program Name
Executive Director/Head of Program
Address
Phone
Examples of nominations include...
New and unique application of best practices in special education;
Business practices that insure sustainability of a program;
Mentoring new leaders; and School reform and or quality improvement that seeks to change a school culture.
In four pages or less, please share your successful program/project/implementation of a best practice with us using
the following criteria. Applications that are longer than four pages will not be considered.
Criteria
Have been in existence for at least one full school year;
Have demonstrated positive results through data collection, research or documented change; and
Have resulted in new methods for program operations.
